While actually part of Annapolis, Eastport retains a distinct identity, assisted by planning codes that require most local businesses to be marine-oriented.
It is bounded by water on three sides: the Severn River, Spa Creek and Back Creek.

Many streets in the neighborhood end at the water, and as public property, the resulting beaches and docks are open to the Community. Here are a few photos.
